Penelope von Weissstern (Penny)
From the world famous Monks of New Skete,
Cambridge, New York. Penny is no longer in this world but her
offspiring live on so we wanted to tell you a little bit about her.
This incredibly beautiful black and red female came to us by a
series of events that could only be the work of fate. She
was AKC registered
with DNA certification. Her
pedigree boasts many German imports and
both of her parents
are OFA certified GOOD.
Penny is the mother of our
own Gunther and Cy (see
males page). Penny passed away
here at White Star with Amy by
her side after many happy years of retirement with her children and
grandchildren

Gypsy's Call Up Trudy (Trudy)
Trudy is a beautiful black and tan female
who brings some new blood into our strong line. She is
perfect in size and color with good proportions and appropriate
behaviour. But the best thing
about Trudy is her
five OFA certifications: elbow,
teeth, cardiac, petella, and hip.
Both of her parents have OFA certified
hips as well. Trudy is a great mother, very
loving and caring and gives her all for her puppies. She is
also very protective when it comes to her babies.
Trudy is AKC, CKC, and
WWKC registered. Her DNA is on
file with AKC. Trudy has
been genetically tested for Degenerative Myelopathy
(DM) and Multidrug Resistance 1 (MDR1)
and been found clear on both accounts.

Gypsy's Spangled Rosalie (Rose)
Rose is the littermate
of Trudy and looks and acts very much
like a sister would. She is an impressive female that
brings new bloodlines into our kennel.
Rose has five OFA
certifications: elbow, teeth, cardiac,
petella, and hip. In
additon to her great health, she is energetic and
smart. Rose has classic black and tan
markings perfect size and proportions and she is a loving yet
protective
mother. Rose is AKC,
CKC, and WWKC registered.
Her DNA is on file with
AKC. Both
of Rose's parents
have OFA cerified hips.
Rose has been genetically tested

Sable Song (Song)
Song is a strong and sturdy powerful female that really has a sweet and loving personality. She is part of a "pack" we bought from a very serious breeder who said she is the number two female and takes over whenever the number one is not around. She is a great mom and loves people. Song also has three certifications from OFA including hips, elbows, and eyes! She is also clear on MDR1 according to DDC Laboratories. Song is AKC and CKC registered. Song is everything a German Shepherd should be, sweet and loving, until things get serious then she's all business. Song has a great disposition, healthy, and looks great too.

Honey Bun (Honey)
Honey is an energetic female who can run
and jump like a deer. She is fierce despite her svelt size
and backs down for nobody.. Honey is the
sister of Song and had her hips
rated GOOD by OFA.
She came to us as a
"pack" with Atticus,
Song, and Bella and they
seem to get alot of exercise running and playing
together.

Diva von Batu (Diva)
Diva is a delightful bi-colored female. She has a beautiful black and red color that i hope will transfer to her pups. Diva has OFA certified hips that have been rated "good" and she is DM clear. We aquired her from a breeder who was training police dogs so she is a little more compact which is the way they are supposed to be for jumping out of police cruiser windows. Diva is a bit too sweet for K-9 work but she would be great for agility or just playing ball, she is very protective when it comes to her family. She has long hair, but not the longest, so I expect her pups to have a variety of hair lenghts
