Welcome to White Star Kennel.

We offer high quality purebred German Shepherd and Labrador Retriever puppies at affordable prices to loving homes.  We are friendly people to deal with.  All our puppies are born here, we never sell them to dog brokers or pet stores we never buy puppies from other people or locations.  Our kennel is large enough to have the highest quality dogs yet small enough to ensure each puppy is lovingly cared for.  We are conveniently located on US  20 between Rockford and Freeport, Illinois, about two hours from Chicago.

We started White Star because people were buying puppies from unsuitable sellers.  No situation is perfect, but we offer a clean comfortable way to legally choose your puppy.

We encourage adoption,

but many people want to start with a puppy from a particular breed. If that is the case please don't patronize unscrupulous unlicensed breeders.  We have large indoor kennels with heated floors and windows in every room.
